I have a Next Business Day Warranty, but my part did not arrive on the next business day.  Why?

The following are reasons why your part service may have been delayed:
  • The system that needs to be repaired is not located within the "Next Business Day" service area.
  • The replacement parts in the warehouse were out of stock during your service call, so the telephone support agent provided you with an estimated date that the parts would arrive to your country.
  • The Dell Part Service number was generated after 4:00 PM. Dell plans the shipping of Next Day Business parts around 4:00 PM. So if your report is generated after 4:00 PM, then the service will be scheduled for the Second Business Day.
