This article is intended to assist users in determining which drivers are available for download for their Dell Printers when using Windows Vista. |
All Dell printers have Windows Vista drivers available for download, except for the printers listed below (Table 1):

Browse to Drivers and Downloads

Enter a Tag |
 | to use the Service Tag of your Dell Printer to find the driver.

Click  Go.

Select the desired Operating System and Driver Language from the drop-down boxes as pictured in Figure 1. The Category and Importance boxes should remain set to All.

Below the drop-down boxes, you find  Printers. Click to display the available downloads. Choose the one listed as Dell - Driver beneath File Title (Figure 2).

Review the information on the page and take note of Installation Instructions and Important Information.

Click Download Now. You may receive a warning and an option to run or save the file.

Click Save.

When the Save As window appears, designate a folder to save the file that is being downloaded and click Save. The download progress window displays.

When the download is complete, follow the instructions provided in the Installation Instructions (as viewed in step 6 above).
