Select the Bluetooth adapter installed in the computer.
  1. Click here if a Bluetooth 350 adapter is installed
  2. Click here if a Bluetooth 355 adapter is installed
  3. Click here if a Bluetooth 360 adapter is installed

If you do not know which Bluetooth Module to select, refer to the Dell KB Article: "Find Out Which Bluetooth Module Is in Your Dell™ Computer" Article ID: 335268.


Bluetooth 350

    The Bluetooth adapter is in the incorrect mode for use in Windows XP and the reason for the Toshiba Bluetooth Stack trial period message.

  1. To download the utility to change the adapter mode, Click Here.

    This allows the Bluetooth module to use the native Microsoft drivers. This will resolve the error that appears regarding the Toshiba Bluetooth Stack trial period.



  2. Click Save




  3. In the Save As window click Save.




  4. Make sure the check box next to Close this dialog box when download completes is not checked.




  5. Click Run.




  6. Follow the onscreen instructions that appear.




  7. The Toshiba Bluetooth software will need to be removed if it has been installed. For instructions on how to do this, refer to the Dell Knowledge Base Article: "Installing Built-in Windows® Drivers for the Dell™ 350 Bluetooth® Module " Article ID: 303833.

Bluetooth 355

  1. The Bluetooth 355 adapter appears to be turned off and is not detected by Windows.




  2. To download the utility to turn the adapter back on, Click Here.




  3. Click Save




  4. In the Save As window click Save.




  5. Make sure the check box next to Close this dialog box when download completes is not checked.




  6. Click Run.




  7. Follow the onscreen instructions that appear.

Bluetooth 360

Currently there is no supported solution for the Bluetooth 360 module purchased with Windows Vista to work in Windows XP.
