» Remove the Google™ Toolbar

  1. Click the Google logo to the left of the Toolbar search box.

  2. Click Help, then click Uninstall.

  3. Add comments about your experience with the Google Toolbar if you wish, then click Uninstall the Google Toolbar.

» Remove the Google™ Desktop

  1. Click Start, point to Programs, point to Google, point to Google Desktop, and click Uninstall Google Desktop.

  2. Follow the prompts to complete the uninstallation of Google Desktop.

» Remove the Google™ URL Assistant

  1. Click Start and select Control Panel.

  2. In the Control Panel window, select Add or Remove Programs.

  3. In the Add or Remove Programs window, select Remove a Program.

  4. In the Add or Remove Programs utility window, click to highlight the URL Assistant program and click Remove.

  5. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the removal process.

» Change the Default Home Page in Microsoft® Internet Explorer®

To change the default home page in Internet Explorer, perform the following steps:

  1. Click Start, highlight All Programs, and select Internet Explorer.

  2. In the Internet Explorer window, click Tools and select Internet Options.

  3. In the Internet Options window, in the Address: field, type the address of the website that you would like to use as your home page.

  4. Click the Apply button to save your changes.

  5. Click the OK button to exit the Internet Options window.

» Change the Default Search Engine in Microsoft® Internet Explorer®

  1. Click Start, highlight All Programs, and select Internet Explorer.

  2. In the Internet Explorer window, click Search.

  3. In the Search Companion frame within the Internet Explorer window, click Change Preferences and then click Change Internet search behavior.

  4. In the Select the default search engine: field, select the search engine service you wish to use.

  5. Click OK.

  6. Click the X in the upper-right corner of the Search Companion frame to close the Search Companion.
