To adjust the power save mode settings, perform the following steps:

  1. Press the <Menu> button until Printer Setup appears on the top line of the display.
  2. Press the  button until Power Save appears, and then press the <SELECT> button.
  3. Press the  button until On appears, and then press the <SELECT> button.

    NOTE:  Selecting Off means that the Power Save mode is turned off.

    NOTICE:  Turning power save mode to off will allow the printer to bypass the warmup period and copy right away.  Power save mode is done to preserve the scan bulb life and turning it off may reduce the scan bulb lifespan.

  4. Press the  button until the time settings you want appears, and then press the <SELECT> button.

    NOTE:  The available options are 5, 10, 15, 30 and 45 (minutes).

  5. Press the <Return> button.
