» Using Sonic RecordNow! to Copy or Create CDs

Sonic RecordNow! can be used to do the following:

  • Make exact copies of almost any type of CD, such as music CDs or data CDs. To do this, use the Exact Copy feature.   • When making an exact copy of a CD, note that some CDs use copy-protection features that prevent their contents from being copied.

    Sonic RecordNow! is intended to be used to reproduce material to which you own the copyright, unless permission has been obtained from the copyright owner to copy the data. If you do not own the copyright or if permission has not been obtained from the copyright owner to copy the data, you may be violating copyright law. You may be subject to payment of damages or other actions if the data is copied. If you are uncertain, contact a legal advisor.
