To completely uninstall DellNet by MSN, perform the following steps:

Incorrect use of the registry editor and editing the registry files can cause serious problems that may require a complete reinstall of your operating system. Dell assumes no responsibility, expressed or implied, regarding the consequences of any action taken as a result of the information provided herein.
- Click the Start button, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
The Control Panel window appears.
- Double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon.
- Click to highlight DellNet by MSN from the list.
- Click the Add/Remove button.
Windows will uninstall the DellNet by MSN components.
- In the Add/Remove Programs list, click to highlight MSN Explorer.
- Click the Add/Remove button.
Windows will uninstall the DellNet by MSN components.
- Close the Add/Remove Programs window.
- Click the Start button, click Shut Down, click Restart, and then click OK.
Windows will reboot to the Desktop.
- Click Start and then click Run.
- In the Open box, type regedit and then click OK.
The Registry Editor window appears.
- Click Edit, click Find, type msn6, and then click Find Now.
- Press the <Delete> key.
The Confirm Value Delete window appears.
- Click Yes to confirm the deletion.
- Repeat steps 10 to 12 until a window appears with the message Finished searching through the registry.
- Click OK, click Cancel, and then exit the Registry Editor.
- Click the Start button, click Shut Down, click Restart, and then click OK.
After removing DellNet, the default browser may still be set to MSN Explorer. For instructions on how to change MSN Explorer from the default browser to either Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator click here.
