You can extend your warranty to a maximum of 4 or 5 years, depending on the system type. For example, if your original purchase had a warranty of 2 years, you can buy only a 2 or 3-year extension. Pricing depends on the specifc system and the term of coverage. It generally costs less to purchase a service contract with your original computer purchase then buying one later.
