Ink Jet Printer Driver Communication Errors in Windows® Vista® After Upgrading From Windows XP
The following error message may appear when printing to a Inkjet Dell printer after upgrading to Microsoft Windows Vista from Windows XP:

Instructions to download and run the patch for your printer that will uninstall the Windows XP printer driver are shown below. After uninstalling the Windows XP printer driver using the patch, reinstall the Windows Vista printer driver.
