The ATI Radeon VE video card does not have a DVI or VGA connector. It only has a 36 pin connector. (Figure 1)

The connector is based on the Molex P&D-A EVC standard shell and requires the use of a dongle (Y-cable) that ships with the card. (Figure 2)

A standard VGA dongle ships with the video card unless a digital monitor is on the order, in which case both the VGA and DVI-D dongles are shipped.
The ATI Radeon VE is capable of dual monitor support. The blue connector is the primary monitor and the black connector is for the secondary monitor if using a dual monitor setup. You can enable dual monitor support with the HydraVision software, installed on the computer. It provides the choice of span or clone modes. The software is loaded at the factory, but is not active. An ATI help file is included to aid in configuring a dual monitor setup. |
