Troubleshooting: Dell
Enhanced Multimedia Keyboard User's
Guide
Basic Troubleshooting:
If you encounter problems in keyboard operation, attempt the following:
- Check the cable connection.
Make sure that the plug is firmly seated in the correct receptacle of a Dell
computer system.
- Check to see if a key is stuck
in the depressed position. If a key is stuck down, the system will usually
"beep". Try to release the key from the stuck position. If this problem persists
please contact Dell Technical Support.
- Check to see if you have a non-responsive
key. If you notice that pressing a key provides no response make sure you
are currently in the active window. If the problem persists, unplug and re-plug
the keyboard. If this does not solve the problem, contact Dell Technical Support.
- The keyboard connector does not
support a 'Hot Plug' connection.
- Hot Keys are not programmable.
- Check to see if your keyboard
is compatible with the Operating System Requirements.
