DB-15 VGA Connector and Pin Assignments

Your computer comes equipped with a DB-15 VGA connector, as shown below.

  1. To use an analog display, you must connect the display with a VGA cable to the VGA connector on your computer.
  2. If you need additional installation information, refer to the user's guide provided with your analog display.

4 Not connected 12 SDA (DDC Data)
5 Ground (analog) 13 Horizontal Sync

7 Green Return (ground) 15 SCL (DDC Clock)
 8 Blue Return (ground)

DVI-I Connector and Pin Assignments

NOTE:  Your computer system is not equipped with a DVI display cable.

  1. Connect your display cable to the DVI-I connector.
  2. If you need additional installation information, refer to the user's guide provided with your display.

A DVI-I connector and pin assignments are shown below.

S-Video (TV) Connector and Pin Assignments

NOTE:  Your computer comes equipped with an S-Video connector, as shown below.

  1. To use a television, connect it to your computer using an S-Video cable.
  1. If you need additional installation information, refer to the user documentation provided with your television set.

1 GND, ground for brightness signal (Y)
2 GND, ground for color signal (U, V)
3 Luminance or brightness (Y) signal
4 C, Chrominance or color (U, V) signal
7 Composite signal
