Whenever opening the computer, lay it flat with the LCD facing down on a
soft towel or surface that will not scratch the glass face. The foam inserts
from the computer packaging can be used to protect the glass face of the LCD. A
cleaning/wipe cloth was included with the computer originally that can be used
for this purpose.
1. Remove the two screws securing the video card to the system board.
2. Loosen the two captive screws securing the video card heat sink to the system board. Please note that the other four captive screws attach the heat sink to the video card board and do not need to be loosened.
3. Remove the three screws from the bottom wall of the
computer.
4. Remove the bottom wall.
5. Shift the video card towards the right side of the computer.
6. Remove the video card by tilting at a 45-degree angle and lifting off the chassis.
