Whenever opening the computer, lay it flat with the LCD facing down on a
soft towel or surface that will not scratch the glass face. The foam inserts
from the computer packaging can be used to protect the glass face of the LCD. A
cleaning/wipe cloth was included with the computer originally that can be used
for this purpose.
1. Loosen the four captive screws securing the lower end of the processor heat sink.
2. Remove the two screws securing the upper end of the processor heat sink.
3. Shift the processor heat sink towards the bottom of the computer.
4. Remove the processor heat sink.
NOTE: When installing the heat sink,
perform steps in reverse order. When tightening screws, screw the
first half way down. Screw the other three screws into place before
tightening the first screw all the way.
