  Removing the Bezel

  Replacing the Bezel

Removing the Bezel

  1. Follow the procedures in Before Working on Your Computer.

  2. Remove the computer cover (see Removing the Computer Cover).

  3. With the computer set upright, find the four cover bezel grips inside the chassis along the left edge of the cover. Gently bend the bezel grips outward to release the left side of the cover from the chassis.

  4. Rotate the left edge of the cover outward until the bezel clamps on the right side of the cover are free of the clamp slots.

  1. Set aside the bezel in a secure location.


Replacing the Bezel

  1. With the computer set upright, align and insert the bezel clamps into the bezel clamp slots along the right edge of the front panel.

  1. Rotate the front cover toward the computer until it bezel grips on the left edge of the cover snap into place.

  2. Perform the steps in the procedure After Working on Your Computer.
