| You may right-click the link for a portable document format (PDF) file and save the file to your hard-disk drive. Attempting to link directly to large PDF files may cause your system to freeze. |
To save PDF files (files with an extension of .pdf) to your hard-disk drive, right-click the document title, click Save Target As in Microsoft® Internet Explorer or Save Link As in Netscape Navigator, and specify a location on your hard-disk drive.

Version 4.0, which can be downloaded from the Adobe World Wide Web site at: http://www.adobe.com/.
Make sure that you include the option for searching PDF files before you download Acrobat
Reader. To navigate within a PDF file, move the cursor within the document until a hand pointing appears. Click the link to open it. The left pane contains an index to the section. Click Contents to return to the Table of Contents. To perform a word search among all the .pdf files for this document, click the search icon (binoculars with paper behind them) in the Acrobat toolbar or click Edit, point to Search, and click Query. If Search is not listed in the Edit menu, you must download the Acrobat Reader with the option for searching PDF files from the Adobe World Wide Web site at: http://www.adobe.com/. |
