The Dell PowerEdge Rack-Mountable Solutions are 42 rack-unit (U), 19-inch server enclosure systems designed to enhance server manageability, serviceability, and reliability.
The Dell rack enclosure includes the following features:
- Removable front and back doors with key locks
- Optional power strips and power distribution units
- Optional low-profile stabilizer feet
- Retractable keyboard shelf
- Optional monitor shelf
- Cable guides for system power and data cables
- Optional switch box for connecting multiple systems to a single monitor, keyboard, and mouse
- Optional uninterruptible power source
- A typical rack enclosure is shown in Figure 1, Rack System Components.
