Viewing HTML Documents

To view an HTML document, start your browser and open the index.htm file in the directory containing the unzipped files.

Viewing PDF Documents

You must right-click the link for a portable document format (PDF) file and save the file to your hard drive. Attempting to link directly to large PDF files causes your system to freeze. To save PDF files (files with an extension of .pdf) to your hard drive, right-click the document title, click Save Target As in Microsoft® Internet Explorer or Save Link As in Netscape Navigator, and specify a location on your hard drive.

To view the documents titled Dell-Supported Racks Installation Reference Guide (for 24-U and 42-U Racks), Dell PowerEdge Rack-Mountable Solutions Installation Guide (for 42-U Racks), Dell PowerEdge 24U Rack Installation Guide, and Dell PowerEdge 42-U Rack and 24-U Rack Site Planning Guide, start your browser and open the index.htm file in the directory containing the unzipped files. Click a link to open a file in Acrobat Reader.

To view all other PDFs, launch Acrobat Reader, click File® Open, and select the PDF file.
