You must right-click the link for a
portable document format (PDF) file and save the file to your hard-disk drive. Attempting
to link directly to large PDF files causes your system to freeze. |
To save PDF files (files with an extension of .pdf)
to your hard-disk drive, right-click the document title, click Save Target As in
Microsoft® Internet Explorer or Save Link As in
Netscape Navigator, and specify a location on your hard-disk drive.

To view a PDF file, launch Acrobat Reader. Click File> Open and select the
PDF file. |
Click the Download button to download the zipped file and save it to your
hard-disk drive.
To unzip the file, perform the following steps:
- Go to the directory location you specified when you saved the file.
- Double-click the .exe file you downloaded.
The WinZip Self-Extractor dialog box appears.
- Specify the location to save the unzipped files to and click Unzip.
A message stating that the files unzipped successfully appears.
- Click OK.
- Click Close.
- To view the document, start your browser and open the index.htm file in the
directory containing the unzipped files.
