Most digital cameras use a memory card to store photos. The printer supports the following digital media:
Compact Flash Type I and II
Memory Stick
Memory Stick PRO
Memory Stick Duo (with adapter)
Mini SD (with adapter)
Microdrive
Secure Digital
Secure Digital High Capacity
MultiMedia Card
xD-Picture Card
Memory cards should be inserted with the label facing up. The card reader has two slots to accommodate these media and a small light that blinks indicating the card is being read or is transmitting data.

The connector that is used for PictBridge may also be used for accessing information stored on USB Flash Drive devices. When you insert a memory card or USB key, the printer automatically switches to Photo mode.

Insert a memory card or USB key.
The printer automatically switches to Photo mode.
Press the Select button
to access the Photo Card Mode menu.

to scroll through the photos on the memory card or USB key.
Press the Select button
to select a photo for printing.
Press the up or down Arrow button
to specify the number of copies.
Repeat steps 5–6 for each photo you want to print.
Press the Start button
to preview your selections.
The Photo Print Preview menu opens.
Press the left or right Arrow button
to scroll through the thumbnail previews of your printed photos.
To change the print settings:
Press the Menu button
to open the Photo Print Settings menu.
After adjusting the settings, press the Back button
to return to the Photo Print Preview menu.
Press the Start button
to print your photos.

If your camera supports DPOF, you can specify which photos to print, and how many of each, while the memory card is still in the camera. The printer recognizes these settings when you insert the memory card into the printer.

Load plain letter or A4 paper, and then press the Select button

Follow the instructions on the proof sheet to select which photos to print, and to choose a layout and paper type to use.
Fill in the circle with the red-eye icon below a photo to reduce the red-eye effect on the printout.

Load the proof sheet facing down on the scanner glass, and then press the Select button

The printer automatically switches to Print Files mode if there are only Microsoft Office files stored on the memory card or USB key. Only files that have filename extensions *.DOC, *.DOCX, *.PDF, *.PPT, *.PPTX, *.RTF, *.XLS, *.XLSX, *.WPD, and *.WPS are recognized.
