Audio: Dell™ Latitude™ CP and CPi

A variety of audio devices, such as speakers, microphones, headphones, and record/playback devices, can be connected to the computer's audio jacks.

Connect the audio cable from the speakers to the headphones/speakers jack. Connect the audio cable from a microphone to the microphone jack.

The computer also supports a variety of record/playback devices, such as cassette players, CD players, radios, stereo systems, VCRs, and tape players. Connect the audio line-out cable from any one of these devices to the line-in/audio-in jack on the back of the computer.

The sound on the computer can be controlled through the System Setup program, the Speaker window in the Dell Control Center, software application menus, and key combinations.
