Hard-Disk Drive Heat Shield Removal: Dell™ Inspiron™ 7000
This procedure assumes that you have removed
the palmrest
assembly from the base assembly. To
remove the hard-disk drive heat shield, follow these steps:
- Place the palmrest assembly face down.
- Remove the (5) 4-mm screws securing the
hard-disk drive heat shield.
- Remove the hard-disk drive heat shield.
