Internal Card With Bluetooth® Wireless Technology

CAUTION: Before performing the following procedures, read the safety instructions in your Product Information Guide.

NOTICE: To avoid electrostatic discharge, ground yourself by using a wrist grounding strap or by periodically touching an unpainted metal surface (such as the back panel) on the computer.

If you ordered an internal card with Bluetooth® wireless technology with your computer, the card is already installed.

Removing the Card With Bluetooth Wireless Technology

1. Follow the instructions in "Preparing to Work Inside the Computer."
   
   
2. Remove the palm rest.
   
   
3. Remove the M2 x 3-mm screw that secures the internal card with Bluetooth wireless technology to the computer base.

4. Disconnect the cable from the internal card with Bluetooth wireless technology.
   
   
5. Pry open the securing tabs on the carrier for the card and lift the card out.
