Flash Cache Modules (FCMs) are internal memory cards that help improve the performance of your computer. You can install FCMs in either the WWAN or WPAN Mini-Card slot.
NOTE: FCMs are compatible with Windows Vista® operating system only.
If you ordered an FCM card with your computer, the card is already installed.
Slide the FCM card at a 45-degree angle out of its connector.

Replacing an FCM
CAUTION: The connectors are keyed to ensure correct insertion. If you feel resistance, check the connectors on the card and on the system board, and realign the card.
CAUTION: To avoid damage to the FCM card, ensure the cables are not under the card when you replace the card.
CAUTION: The Mini-Card slot has WPAN/UWB/FCM silk-screened inside the slot. Do not install FCM cards in any other Mini-Card slot.
Slide the FCM card into the connector.
Press the card down to the alignment post and hold in position.
