Removing the Bluetooth Card

CAUTION: Before performing the following procedures, read the safety instructions in your Product Information Guide.

NOTICE: To avoid electrostatic discharge, ground yourself by using a wrist grounding strap or by periodically touching an unpainted metal surface (such as the back panel) on the computer.

If you ordered an internal card with Bluetooth® wireless technology with your computer, the card is already installed.

1. Follow the instructions in "Preparing to Work Inside the Computer."
   
   
2. Locate the small access door in the battery compartment.

3. Press the latch on the small access door and lift the door out.
   
   
4. Remove the M2 x 3-mm screw holding the internal card with Bluetooth wireless technology.
   
   
5. Grasp the card and pull it apart from the connector cable.
   
   
6. Remove the card from the computer.
