Removing the Wireless Network Adapter

NOTICE: Disconnect the computer and any attached devices from electrical outlets, and remove any installed batteries.

NOTICE: To avoid ESD, ground yourself by using a wrist grounding strap or by touching an unpainted metal surface on the computer.

NOTICE: Read "Preparing to Work Inside the Computer" before performing the following procedure.

1. Remove the hard drive.
   
   
2. Remove the keyboard.
   
   

Wireless Network Adapter

1	wireless cables (2)
2	wireless cable connectors (2)

3. Disconnect the two wireless cables from the wireless card.
   
   
4. Spread the two metal securing tabs apart, and pull the card from its socket.
   
   

Replacing the Wireless Network Adapter

The wireless card is keyed to the connector. Make sure the card is fully seated in the socket before attempting to pivot it down into place.
