NOTE: For all operating systems except Microsoft®
Windows® XP, you can download the optional User's Guide Viewer, which
provides an interface for viewing HTML documents installed on your hard drive.
For Windows XP, all documents installed on your hard drive can be viewed through
the Help and Support Center.
To download the viewer, go to the Dell Support website
at support.dell.com. If this
is your first time to use the website, complete the one-time registration form.
Click Downloads and complete the information
requested. For the download category, click System and Configuration Utilities.

Click the Download button to download the file and save it to your
hard drive.
Downloading the Help File and Associated Files
- Right-click the following link to the hhactivex.dll file: hhactivex.dll
- Click Save Target As in Microsoft Internet Explorer or Save Link
As in Netscape Navigator, and specify c:\windows\system.
- Click the Start button on the Microsoft Windows desktop, and then
click Run.
- Type regsvr32 hhactivex.dll and then press
<Enter>.
- Click OK when the installation is complete.
- Click the appropriate button to download the zipped file and save it to
your hard drive.
Viewing the Help File
- Open the folder in which you saved the file.
- Double-click the filename.
If you downloaded
an executable zip file (files with an extension of .exe):
- Go to the directory location you specified when you saved the file.
- Double-click the .exe file you downloaded.
The WinZip Self-Extractor dialog box appears.
- Specify the location where you want to save the unzipped files and click Unzip.
A message appears, stating that the files unzipped successfully.
- Click OK.
- Click Close.
- To view the document, start your browser and open the index.htm file in the
directory containing the unzipped files.
To view PDF files (files with an extension of .pdf),
click the document title. To save PDF files (files with an extension of .pdf) to your
hard drive, right-click the document title, click Save Target As in
Microsoft®
Internet Explorer or Save Link As in Netscape Navigator, and then specify a location
where you want to save the files on
your hard drive.
