CAUTION: Before you begin any of the procedures in this section, follow the safety instructions in the Product Information Guide. |
- Follow the procedures in Before You Begin.
- Turn the computer over.
- Loosen the captive screw on the memory module cover, then remove the
cover and set it aside.

- Disconnect the coin-cell battery cable from the system board.

- Slide the battery out of the mylar sleeve.

- Follow the procedures in Before You Begin.
- Connect the coin-cell battery cable to the system board.
- Slide the coin-cell battery into the mylar sleeve.
- Replace the memory module cover and tighten the captive screw.
