NOTICE: To help prevent damage to the system board, you must remove the battery from the battery bay before you begin working inside the computer.
Replacing the Display Assembly
Follow the instructions in "Before You Begin" on page 9.
Remove the six M2.5 x 3-mm screws securing the display panel.
NOTE: Note how the cables have been routed to the display panel.
Disconnect the cables from the connectors on either side of the inverter
board and the 2-in-1 camera and LVDS cable from the connector on the
camera board.
Remove the display panel.

M2 x 2.5-mm screws (4)
Remove the four M2 x 2.5-mm screws (two on each side) that secure the
display panel bracket to the display panel.
To replace the display panel, align the display panel bracket with the
display panel.
Replace the four M2 x 2.5-mm screws that secure the display panel
brackets to each side of the display panel.
Replace the 2-in-1 camera and LVDS cable.
Align the display panel with the display panel frame and replace the six
M2.5 x 3-mm screws.
Route the cables back through their routing channels.
Replace the cables from the connectors on either side of the inverter board
and the 2-in-1 camera and LVDS cable from the connector on the camera
board.
