SEC Cartridge: Dell Dimension XPS H233 and XPS H266
The single-edge contact (SEC) cartridge, shown above with the
heat sink attached, contains a 242-pin microprocessor card. The
microprocessor card contains:
- Pentium� II microprocessor with MMX™ technology and integrated
32-KB primary (L1) cache
- Secondary (L2) cache of 512-KB pipelined write-back SRAM
- Associated circuitry
The heat sink attaches to a thermal plate on the SEC
cartridge. The cartridge slides into a guide bracket assembly
mounted on the system board (see Removing the
SEC Cartridge and Heat Sink) and plugs into the SLOT 1
connector on the system board.
