computer:
- A line-out jack (green-colored) for connecting the audio
cable from speakers with integrated amplifiers
- A line-in jack (blue-colored) for connecting the line-out
cable from record/playback devices such as cassette
players, CD players, and VCRs
- A microphone jack (red-colored) for connecting the audio
cable from a personal computer microphone
To adjust the volume for both Windows 95 and Windows NT 4.0,

or, from the task bar, select the following in sequence:
Programs, Accessories, Multimedia, and Volume Control.
- In the Volume Control column, move the vertical slide
switch up or down to raise or lower the volume; use the
horizontal slide switch to adjust the balance.
The Yamaha OPL3-SA3 Enhanced 3D Audio controller provides
sound functions compatible with a Sound Blaster Pro expansion
card.

add 3D enhanced audio to the OPL3-SA Mixer Volume Control screen.
To do so, select Properties from the Options menu, and then
select 3D Enhanced Wide.
Under 3D Enhanced on the Volume Control screen, you can widen
or narrow the stereo sound field by moving the 3D Enhanced slide
switch up or down, respectively. (When 3D audio is first enabled,
the switch defaults to about of the way to the top.) Use the
Mute checkbox to turn 3D audio all the way down.
 |
NOTES: Under the Microsoft Windows 95 operating
system only, the 3D Enhanced properties section of the
Volume Control screen is linked to the 3D Enhanced
Ymersion slide switch available through the OPL3-SAX
Configuration icon on the Windows 95 Control Panel. A
change made at one location is reflected at the other. If
you have Dolby Surround sound included with your system,
you should not enable both the Dolby and the Yamaha
Ymersion sound system at the same time.
