Click View to access the document.
OR
Click Download to save the document to your hard drive.
- Click Download.
- In the File Download window, click Save.
- In the Save As window, click the Save in drop-down arrow and select a directory on your
computer C: drive.
- Click Save.
- In the Download Complete window, click Close.
To unzip your downloaded file:
- Navigate to the directory location on your C: drive that you specified when you saved the file.
- Double-click the .zip file that you downloaded.
- In the .zip file window, click Extract and select the directory
to which you downloaded the file.
- Click Extract and close the .zip file window.
Viewing HTML Documents
To view a downloaded HTML document, start your browser and click the index.htm
file.
Viewing PDF Documents With Linux
It is recommended that you use the xpdf file viewer for the X Windows System. You can download xpdf from the following
website: www.foolabs.com/xpdf.
For information on using xpdf, open a command prompt, type man xpdf, and press <Enter>.
To open a document in the X Windows System:
- Open a command prompt.
- Type startx and press <Enter>.
- At the command prompt, type the following and press <Enter>:
xpdf <file_name>
where <file_name> is the document name.
For example:
xpdf lnx7132.pdf
- Use the right- and left-arrow buttons to navigate in the xpdf screen.
A single-arrow button moves the document one page in the indicated direction.
A double-arrow moves the document 10 pages in the indicated direction.
