Dell PowerEdge RAID Console: PowerEdge Expandable RAID Controller

PowerEdge RAID Console: Dell PowerEdge Expandable RAID Controller

PowerEdge RAID Console is an object-oriented utility that enables you to control, configure, and monitor RAID systems locally or over a network with several servers. PowerEdge RAID Console runs under Windows NT and can be executed from any workstation.

To start the PowerEdge RAID Console, double-click on the PowerEdge RAID Console icon in the PowerEdge group in Windows NT.

If you have more than one RAID controller in a host system, make sure at least 1 logical drive is configured on every RAID controller in the host system before you access the controllers from PowerEdge RAID Console in Windows NT. You can configure the logical drives with BIOS Setup.

NOTE: The RAID controller only supports PowerEdge hard-disk drives purchased from Dell to provide maximum reliability for you. Only Dell PowerEdge hard-disk drives have been thoroughly tested with the RAID controller in all types of RAID environments.
