Overview

The Dell USB Memory Key is a small USB storage device that can offer a convenient storage solution. The Memory Key is automatically recognized by Windows 2000 and XP. Once installed, the Memory Key appears in Windows as a removable drive. All standard file operations (copy, delete, drag-and-drop, etc.) can be performed with this drive.


Features

The Dell USB Memory Key has the following features:

  • 64, 128 or 256 MB capacity
  • Bootable: The device can be made bootable. In order for the computer to boot from the USB Memory Key, the key must be properly formatted. Additionally, the computer BIOS must support boot from USB. Check your computer documentation to confirm if the System Setup (BIOS) support boot from USB Memory Key.
  • Mass Storage Class device (No drivers are required under Windows 2000 and XP.)
  • Solid-state for high ruggedness and data reliability
  • LED activity indicator

Power Sources

The Dell USB Memory Key is powered by the USB bus. No other power source is required.


Memory Key Software

No software is required under Windows 2000 and XP. Simply plug the drive into an available USB port and the operating system will automatically recognize it.
