Cables
Two external cables are included with PC-DVD Encore.
Figure 1. TV Out Cable
The TV Out cable connects the TV Out connector on the Dxr2 decoder
card to the S-video and composite video connectors on your television monitor.
The TV Out cable is approximately 6 feet long. To extend the length,
a female-to-female adapter (available from Creative Labs Customer Service) and an
additional S-Video cable with male connectors at each end are required.
Figure 2. VGA Loopback Cable
The VGA loopback cable connects the VGA card in your computer to the
Dxr2 decoder card.
Three internal cables are included with the PC-DVD Encore.
Figure 3. IDE Data Cable
The IDE data cable connects the PC-DVD drive to the system board or
IDE interface card.
Figure 4. Dual Connector Audio Cable
The dual connector audio cable connects the Dxr2 decoder card to
your audio card.
Figure 5. PC-DVD Audio Cable
The PC-DVD audio cable connects the PC-DVD drive to either the Dxr2
decoder card or your audio card.
