Installing the Driver

To install the SNC driver on a Microsoft® Windows® 2000 or a Microsoft Windows 2003 system, follow this procedure:

1. Connect the SNC to your Windows 2000 or Windows 2003 host.
2. Restart the Windows 2000 or Windows 2003 host.
3. Insert the Dell PowerVault 136T Library Documentation and Drivers CD into the CD drive.
4. At the Welcome to the Found New Hardware Wizard dialog, click Next.
5. Choose Search for a list of known drivers (recommended)..., and click Next.
6. Choose CD-ROM Drive, and click Next.
7. Click Finish.

Uninstalling the Driver

Follow the procedure below to uninstall the SNC driver from Windows 2000 or Windows 2003:

1. Click the Start button.
2. Under Programs -> Administrative Tools, click Computer Management.
3. Select Device Manager from the list on the left-hand side.
4. Expand the System Devices tree.
5. Right-click Dell PV136T-SNC2 and choose Uninstall.
