Installing the Driver

To install the SNC driver on a Microsoft® Windows® 2000 system, follow this procedure:

1. Connect the SNC to your Windows 2000 host.
2. Restart the Windows 2000 host.
3. Insert the Dell PowerVault 136T Library Documentation and Drivers CD into the CD drive.
4. At the Welcome to the Found New Hardware Wizard dialog, click Next.
5. Choose Search for a list of known drivers (recommended)..., click Next.
6. Choose CD-ROM Drive, click Next.
7. Click Finish.

Uninstalling the Driver

Follow the procedure below to uninstall the SNC driver from Windows 2000:

1. Click Start.
2. Under Programs > Administrative Tools, click on Computer Management.
3. Select Device Manager from the list on the left hand side.
4. Expand the System Devices tree.
5. Right click on Dell PV136T-SNC and choose Uninstall.
