Viewing PDF Documents

NOTE: To view the PDF files, Dell recommends that
you use the xpdf file viewer for the X Window System. You can download xpdf
from the website www.foolabs.com/xpdf/. |
To view the files, perform the following steps:
- To start the X Window System, type startx from a SuSE Linux command prompt.
- In a terminal window, type xpdf filename to open the PDF file you want to view.
For example, type:
xpdf lnx7132.pdf
For more information about how to use xpdf, type
the following command at a SuSE Linux command prompt:
man xpdf
- To navigate within a PDF file, use the right- and left-arrow buttons
at the bottom of the xpdf screen. A single arrow button moves the document one page
in the direction indicated. A compound arrow moves the document 10 pages in the direction
indicated.
