Setting the Optimal Resolution: Dell™ UltraScan P991 Color Monitor User's Guide
For optimal monitor performance while using the Microsoft® Windows® 98, Windows 95, or Windows NT® operating systems, set the display resolution to 1024x768 or 1280x1024 (the characters will appear smaller in the 1280x1024 resolution) by performing the following steps:
- Click the Start button, point to Settings, and click Control Panel.
- Double-click the Display icon in the Control Panel window, and then click the Settings tab.
- In the Desktop area, move the slidebar to 1024 by 768 or 1280 by 1024 pixels. Then click OK.
