Tilt/Swivel Base: Dell™ E771a Color Monitor User's Guide

With theTilt/ Swivel base, you can tilt and/or swivel the monitor
for the most comfortable viewing angle.
 CAUTION: This monitor is shipped with
a detached tilt/swivel base.
Attaching the Tilt
Swivel Base
- Turn off the monitor and unplug it from the electrical outlet.
- Place the monitor upside-down on a padded, flat work surface.
- Align the tabs on the swivel base with the corresponding slots on the bottom of the
monitor.

NOTE: The base will align with the monitor slots
in only one position. |
- Press the swivel base onto the monitor until the tabs are fully engaged in the slots,
and then push the swivel base toward the front of the monitor until the release latch
clicks into the locked position.
Removing the Tilt
Swivel Base
- Place the monitor upside-down on a stable, flat work surface.
- Pull up and back on the release latch on the monitor.
- Push the swivel base toward the back of the monitor and lift up to
remove the base.
CAUTION: Be careful to avoid pinching or scraping fingers when
removing the base.
