Turn off the monitor and unplug it from the electrical outlet.

Place the monitor upside down on a padded, flat work surface.

Align the tabs on the swivel base with the corresponding slots on the bottom of the monitor.
NOTE:
The base will align with the monitor slots in only one position.

Press the swivel base onto the monitor until the tabs are fully engaged in the slots, and then push the swivel base toward the front of the monitor until the release latch clicks into the locked position.

Removing the Tilt/Swivel Base
1.
Place the monitor upside down on a stable, flat work surface.
2.
Squeeze and pull up the release latch on the swivel base.
3.
Push the swivel base toward the back of the monitor and lift up to remove the base.
Cable Connections the Back of the Monitor and Computer
1.
Turn off your computer and unplug its power cable.
2.
Connect the blue connector of signal cable to the blue video port on the back of your computer.
NOTE: The graphics are for illustration only. System appearance may vary.
3.
Connect the power cord for your monitor to the AC plug on the back of the monitor.
4.
Plug the power cords of your computer and monitor into a nearby outlet.
5.
Turn on your monitor and computer.
If your monitor displays an image, installation is complete. If it does not display an image, see Troubleshooting Your Monitor.
Optional Connection

White DVI-I adapter
If the computer has an optional video card with a white digital connector, connect the monitor to the card using the white DVI-I adapter only.
NOTE: The white DVI-I adaper is included with the computer.
