Whenever you open the OSD and allow an adjustment window to remain on screen for about 3 seconds without pressing another button, the monitor automatically saves any adjustments you have made. These changes are saved into a user area in the monitor. User areas are reserved according to the signal frequency of your computer. The monitor can save adjustments for up to eight user modes. It has eight preset modes, one for each signal frequency, as listed in Preset Display Modes.

If you have made no adjustments, the on-screen menu disappears after 15 seconds and the monitor does not save anything.

OSD Warning Messages

A warning message may appear on the screen indicating that the monitor is out of sync. This warning message will scroll through the screen.

This means that the monitor cannot synchronize with the signal that it is receiving from the computer. Either the signal is too high or too low for the monitor to use.  See Specifications for the Horizontal and Vertical scan ranges addressable by this monitor.

Sometimes, no warning message appears, but the screen is blank, which could also indicate that the monitor is not synchronizing with the computer.

LED Indicators

The power indicator LED glows a steady green while you are actively using your computer system, or it blinks according to the table below. A blinking indicator LED indicates the monitor is using one of the reduced power modes supported by your computer system.

NOTE: Your monitor will automatically "wake up" if it detects any input from the keyboard, mouse or other input device.
