Automatic Save

Whenever you open the OSD and allow an adjustment window to remain on screen for about 30 seconds without pressing another button, the monitor automatically saves any adjustments you have made. These changes are saved into a user area in the monitor. User areas are reserved according to the signal frequency of your computer. The monitor can save adjustments for up to 5 user modes. It has 8 preset modes, one for each signal frequency, as listed in Preset Display Modes.

If you have made no adjustments, the on-screen menu disappears and the monitor does not save anything.

OSD Attention Messages

An attention message may appear on the screen indicating that the monitor is out of sync.

This means that the monitor cannot synchronize with the signal that it is receiving from the computer. Either the signal frequency is too high or too low for the monitor to use.  See Specifications for the Horizontal and Vertical scan ranges addressable by this monitor.

Sometimes, no warning message appears, but the screen is blank, which could also indicate that the monitor is in power save state. See LED Indicators.
