Using the Monitor Menus: Dell D1025HE Color Monitor
The Dell D1025HE monitor provides menus that enable you to make adjustments to the monitor's display settings. These
menus are accessed using the arrow buttons on the monitor's front panel.
Press the up- or down-arrow key to display the Main Menu. The Main Menu lists four options, each of which opens a
separate submenu. The footer line of the menu shows the resolution and refresh rate of the current display mode. The selected
item in the menu is indicated by the right and left triangles.
The following options appear on the Main Menu:
- Language
- Basic Adjustments
- Geometry
- Image
To use the menus to adjust the monitor settings, follow these steps:
- Use the up- or down-arrow button to select a menu option.
- Press the right-arrow button to open the selected submenu.
- Use the up- or down-arrow button to select the property you want to adjust, and press the right-arrow button to open
the selected item.
A sliding scale appears showing the position of the adjustment.
- Use the right-arrow button to increase the setting or the left-arrow button to decrease the setting.
The new setting is stored automatically. All menu displays disappear automatically in a few seconds or immediately by pressing the
up- and down-arrow buttons simultaneously.
To return to the Main Menu to adjust other properties, use the up- or down-arrow button to select the Exit to the Main Menu option
and press the right-arrow button.
You can recall the last menu on which you were adjusting properties by pressing either the left- or right-arrow button within 20
seconds after it disappears. After 20 seconds, the monitor resets to the default menu selection.
Some of the menu items consist of selection alternatives. The right- and left-arrow buttons enable you to scan the list of
alternatives. If there are only two alternatives, the right-arrow button switches the property on and the left-arrow button
switches the property off.
