Attaching the Tilt/Swivel Base • Removing the Tilt/Swivel Base

Tilt/Swivel Base

With the built-in pedestal, you can tilt and/or swivel the monitor for the most comfortable viewing angle.

Note: The tilt/swivel base is attached when the monitor is shipped and can be removed.          This monitor may also be available in a brighter color (DualTone).

Removing the Tilt/Swivel Base

1. Turn off the monitor and unplug it from the electrical outlet.
2. Disconnect the power adapter and signal cable from the monitor.
3. Place the monitor panel-side down on a stable, padded, flat work surface.
4. Remove the four mounting plate retaining screws. One screw at each corner. Lift the tilt/swivel base up and away from the monitor.

Note: This monitor may also be available in a brighter color (DualTone).

Attaching the Tilt/Swivel Base

1. Turn off the monitor and unplug it from the electrical outlet.
2. Disconnect the power adapter and signal cable from the monitor.
3. Place the monitor panel-side down on a stable, padded, flat work surface.
4. Align the screw holes on the swivel base with the corresponding holes on the back of the monitor.

   Note: The base aligns with the monitor screw holes in only one position.

5. Insert and loosely secure the four screws on the base. Tighten the screws in an alternating pattern and make sure not to over-tighten.
6. Attach the power adapter cord and the appropriate signal cable(s) to the connectors on the back of the monitor and secure them under the cable management hook.
