Storage Devices: Dell Dimension XPS P90c/P100c/P120c/P133c/P150c/P166c

The system unit provides 2 internal half-height (3.5-inch form factor) and 3 external half-height (5.25-inch) drive bays. The system board provides a primary EIDE hard-disk drive interface (IDE1), a secondary EIDE device interface (IDE2), and a diskette/tape controller (DISKETTE).
The secondary EIDE interface is for use with EIDE devices such as tape drives or CD-ROMs.

NOTE: Without special drivers, MS-DOS will not recognize more than 2 physical hard-disk drives. There are no drivers available to allow this system to recognize more than 2 EIDE hard-disk drives.

Both EIDE interfaces support LBA mode, PIO mode3, and PIO mode4 data transfers.

Hard-Disk Drive Cooling Fan

The hard-disk drive cooling fan assembly is installed only if a large, high-capacity hard-disk drive is installed in the hard-disk drive bracket (typically a SCSI 500-MB or larger hard-disk drive).
