Small Computer Systems Interface. A computer bus interface standard that enables different kinds of peripherals, such as disk drives, CD-ROM drives and tape drives, to interface with the host computer over a common SCSI bus. SCSI-1, SCSI-2 and SCSI-3 are different versions of the SCSI protocol.
