Memory Installation Guidelines

The 4 SIMM sockets can accommodate from 8 to 128 MB of RAM.
Supported SIMM sizes are 4, 8, 16, and 32 MB.
SIMMs can be either 60 ns (EDO) or 70 ns (fast-page mode).
SIMMs are 32-bit, nonparity.
SIMMs must be installed in matched pairs.
In terms of functionality and performance SIMM socket pairs can be installed in either BANK. When installing 4 SIMMs BANK0 should be installed first.
The number and arrangement of chips on the SIMM may vary.
The SIMMs used on this system have tin leads.
