Disabling a Forgotten Password: Dell Dimension XPS 50/66

There is no provision to override a password.
If the password has been forgotten and the system cannot be
accessed, it is necessary to clear the CMOS memory and then
reconfigure the System Setup program.
- Turn off the system.
- Disconnect the BT CON
(battery) connector on the system board.
- Wait 1 hour, then reconnect the BT CON connector.
- Start the computer, and press
<Ctrl><Alt><Enter> to enter the System
Setup program.
- Reset all user-selectable options.
