Installing and Removing Memory

Installing a SIMM

1. Remove the cover.
2. While pushing outward on each of the SIMM socket's metal tabs, rotate the SIMM upward until it is released from its socket.

To replace a SIMM, align the SIMM with the slot in the center of the socket with the cutout toward the back of the chassis and press slowly upward until it snaps into place.
